We use the code line 23 to solve the problem. On the code line 4, we choose an initial condition. The first option fmincon tells MATLAB that we plan to use the build-in fmincon function to solve the problem.

Finally, with the option ‘OptimalityTolerance’ -> 1.0000e-8, we set the solution tolerance. Since we want to speed up the computations, we set ‘UseParallel’ -> true (although for a small system that we are dealing with, the parallel option does not lead to any significant increase in the computation speed).
